Characteristics

Extreme, arid continental climate with very cold winters and dry, hot summers. Average temperature is below 3º C in winter and above 23ºC in summer. Scarce rainfall, with annual average barely reaching 400 mm. Average altitude 750 m above sea.

Varieties and Wines

Authorised varieties:

• Black grapes: Main varieties: Tempranillo. Authorised varieties: Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon.
• White varieties: Main varieties: Malvasía, Muscatel and Verdejo. Authorised varieties: Albillo, Palomino and Godello.

WHITES (Malvasía 100%):
Straw yellow with green hues. Naturally sparkling. Reminiscent of fresh green fruit (apple, pineapple and peach). Freshly mown grass. Smooth and glyceric. Balanced acidity. Sharp finish.

WHITES (Verdejo 90% Moscatel 10%):
Greenish yellow with tones of golden yellow. Powerful nose with fresh and tropical fruit and citrus floral notes. Big and silky. Balanced acidity. Fresh and oily.

ROSÉS (Tempranillo 100%):
Deep cherry red in the glass. Fruity aromas of strawberry and raspberries with light hints of flowers. Naturally sparking. Silky and refreshing. Very fruity retronasal.

YOUNG RED (Tempranillo 100%):
Cherry red with great swirl and violet tones. Broad aroma of wild fruits (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries). Flavoursome, meaty and balanced. Highly memorable.

CRIANZA (Tempranillo 100%):
Cherry red with great swirl and burgundy reflections. New wood vanilla, toasted notes and a background of ripe berries. Spicy finish. Flavoursome, meaty and balanced. Highly memorable.
